Files & Formats
What file formats are included in each plan?
Every plan includes a mosaic print PDF (tile pages for hand-cutting on A4/Letter paper), a 1:1 SVG file (CNC and laser-cutter ready), a DXF file (compatible with any CAD or cutting software), a detailed cut list, and a materials & hardware guide.
Can I use the SVG and DXF files with my CNC router or laser cutter?
Yes. The SVG and DXF files are clean, single-path vectors designed for direct import into software like Easel, VCarve, LightBurn, or any other CAD/CAM tool.
How do I access my files after purchase?
You will be redirected to a download page immediately after checkout. A download link is also emailed to you within 2–5 minutes. Files are available to re-download any time from your account.
Tools & Building
Do I need a CNC machine or laser cutter?
No. The mosaic PDF templates let you print and assemble full-scale patterns on standard A4/Letter paper. A jigsaw and a drill are all you need for a perfect result. CNC and laser files are included as a bonus.
What wood should I use?
12mm or ½" plywood is the most popular choice for its strength and clean cut edges. 12mm MDF also works well for indoor letters. The materials guide in each plan lists exact board dimensions and quantities.
How long does it take to build a marquee letter?
Most builders complete a single letter in 4–8 hours spread over a weekend. Time varies based on the complexity of the letter and your tooling.
Size & Specifications
How tall are the finished letters?
All plans are designed for a finished height of 4ft (48 inches / ~122 cm) — the industry-standard size for marquee rentals and event photo backdrops.
How deep are the letters?
The standard finished depth is 1.5 inches (38mm), which comfortably houses standard LED strip lights or Edison bulb sockets.
Can I scale the plans up or down?
The SVG files can be scaled to any size in your cutting software. Note that the material quantities in the cut list are calculated for the 4ft version.
Licencing & Resale
Can I sell or rent physical letters I build from these plans?
Yes. Every purchase includes a single-user commercial licence. You're free to rent out or sell any physical letters you build from the plans. You may not resell or redistribute the digital files themselves.
Do I need a separate licence for each letter I build?
No. One purchase lets you build as many physical copies of that letter as you like for commercial use.

Do you offer refunds?
Because these are instant digital downloads, we cannot accept returns in the traditional sense. However, if you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us and we'll make it right.
